much less stress!!!!!

well, i am now past a 'fun' time with school...i am now going to eastfield this semester since that costs 198 to take some classes and utd wanted 3000. so now i can save to take some classses at utd in the spring. ^_^

well, my other reason for posting was a poll i found in a summer edition of utd's newspaper. the question was "Who do you feel is UTD's closest rival?"
the results were:

UT Tyler Patriots 27%
Mississippi Choctaws 26%
HSU Cowboys 13%
Other not sports-based 13%
Trinity Tigers 12%
ETBU Tigers 6%
Other sports-based 3%

ok...now let's see here...somehow most people feel our rival is sports-based...and the top contenter for our rival is part of the UT system...come on now, how can we be rivals with ourselves and considering our two main sports are chess and soccer why are all these named rival canidates in the U.S.?

please explain this to me if you can. and if you have far too much time to waste; see if you can figure out why there has not been a mob to change our mascot's name (Temoc the comet)or even our mascot
